Our Review of the Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40 double stroller

Peg Perego's side-by-side double stroller is the unique and luxurious Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40, perfect for parents with both a toddler and an infant child. The twin seats of this fashion-forward, Italian designed double stroller are different sizes - with the larger seat capable of carrying a Peg Perego infant car seat like the Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30. The Aria Twin 60/40 stroller is convenient for you and comfortable for the little ones, offering features and functions that simplify the challenges involved in bringing both children along for errands or exploration.

Benefits for Mom & Dad

Caring for two children is a very demanding job, and a double stroller like the Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40 is excellent for parents with both an infant and a toddler. It enhances your mobility while keeping both children secure, comfortable, and close to one another. In addition, the high fashion Italian fabric cuts and patterns should add some extra incentive for you moms and dads with an eye for good design.

Convenience

Despite its two-seater status, the Aria Twin 60/40 is narrow enough to fit through all standard doorways, and it folds into a flat and easily managed package. There's even a carrying handle on the side for easy transportation when folded. Beneath the dual seats is an extra large storage basket, and a removable cupholder (that you can attach on either side of the handles) rests within easy reach.

The fashionable fabrics of the Aria Twin 60/40 stroller are stain resistant and hand washable.

Pushability

This side by side double stroller from Peg Perego is narrow enough to fit through standard doorways, and its eight solid rubber wheels are equipped with individual spring suspensions to smooth out the bumps and make handling the stroller on tricky terrain that much easier. The ergonomic handle grip and easy swivel wheels allow you to maneuver this elegant double stroller through even the most crowded of urban environments with ease.

Compatibility

The Peg Perego Aria 60/40 is equipped with retractable car seat anchors in the larger of its two seats. When deployed, the Aria Twin 60/40 will accept a single Peg Perego Infant Car Seat, like:

Benefits for Jack and Jill

The Peg Perego Aria 60/40 is an ideal way to transport your growing toddler beside your new arrival. This luxurious double allows both your children to sit comfortably while safely situated in the deluxe padded seats and relaxing recline offered by the Aria.

The unique Freedom of Movement harness offered with Peg Perego strollers affords a child the option to remain secure yet move freely about the seat, without his or her back and shoulder held firmly against the seat back.

Comfort

Not only is the Aria 60/40 fitted with designer fabrics and ample padding, it also comes with individual child trays for each seat, providing each rider with a place to hold their drinks, toys, or snacks. Each seat and sun canopy adjusts individually, offering a custom recline and shade to match each of your passenger's unique preferences. The individual spring suspension system for each wheel provides an additional degree of comfort.

Safety

Comparison

There are very few side-by-side double strollers that are car seat compatible. Most car seat compatible doubles are tandem strollers, which are narrower but somewhat more difficult to steer. One comparable model would be the Maclaren Twin Techno, a side-by-side double stroller that is able to accept one Combi infant car seat at a time.

Awesome

Let me start by saying that I did tons of research for weeks and took numerous trips to the stores to find a double wide stroller for my two year old and two month old. I looked at both running and umbrella styles. I wanted to get a stroller in the $200 range. Most of the strollers I looked at were heavy, bulky, too wide, didn't steer well, cheap fabric, awful canopies, purely made, and didn't folded up well. This stroller is sturdy, well made, has seats that individual fully recline, has large individual adjusting canopies, individual food trays that can be taking on or off, large individual storage baskets, well made fabric, folds up in seconds and opens up just as quick. It is completely flat when folded up enabling you to fit it into small area and has a convenient handle for lifting. It has a very cool 60/40 feature that I have not found in any other model. The 60 side can be used for an older child to give them more room. The other very very cool thing is if my two year old sits in the 40 side (which she fits in fine) my infant car seat clicks right into the 60 side. On the manufactures description it says for Peg-Perego car seats only. I have a Graco one and it fit perfectly! This feature makes it like you have a double wide stroller that is also a travel system on one side. It came fully emsembled and ready to go. Spend the extra money. This one is worth it. One thing I would say is because it is a 60/40 I won't recommend it for twins or children close to age. It will still work fine but one side is visible bigger than the other.

Great lightweight twin stroller!

I don't think ANY stroller is perfect, which is the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. If you are looking for a lightweight stroller that maneuvers well and isn't a beast to push I think this stroller rocks. I first got the Graco Quattro Duo and although it has many great features it is SOOOO heavy and HUGE! I also thought that I wouldn't like a side-by-side, that it would be harder to get through things like doorways, etc. but I have found it to be much easier to maneuver than my Graco. Some things you'll have to sacrifice for it being lightweight: it doesn't have a great basket (not terrible though), cup holder is pretty bad, and the snack trays are pretty small. Also, the brake is a little bit tough to put on, but I am used to the foot brake with the other three strollers I own. With that being said, it is the only lightweight double stroller I found that had snack trays at all. Like I said, no stroller is perfect-but this comes pretty close for my needs! If you are looking for a compact double stroller and plan to use it for shopping trips, dog walks, and basic uses I think this stroller is awesome!

Love It!

My twins are now 2 and a half years old, and we are just about to buy our third Peg Perego Aria Twin stroller. The fallacy here is that it will be out third! Yes, I love this stroller, but it is not the sturdiest out there. Forget the cup holder being on there for more than a week or two! That beautiful large basket drags and tears, but the features are great and it definitely fits through doorways, so I keep buying it!

Great Stroller

We've used this stroller for 5 months and our twin girls are now 7 months old. It is very lightweight and fits through all standard doorways and aisles. Great large storage basket underneath. While this has no frilly bells or whistles it does work very well. Seats recline fully. Snack trays detach. We have no complaints and would buy this stroller again!
