Our Review of the Combi Coccoro convertible car seat
Designed by a mom with a super small car, the Combi Coccoro Convertible Car Seat features big safety in a compact package. Weighing just 11 lbs, the Coccoro baby car seat takes little effort to maneuver into your car or move between vehicles. The Coccoro's cover lifts off in just a few seconds and it is hand washable for easy clean up.
Installation: Install the Coccoro using either your vehicle's seat belts or LATCH. Rear-facing and forward-facing lock offs provide a tight installation. Color coded belt pathways make it easy to know which pathways are for rear-facing installation and which are for forward-facing installation. An indicator line helps you get the correct angle for rear-facing installation.
Green and red indicators let you now that you've buckled the 5-point harness properly. Green means go, red means stop and check your work. Shoulder belt retainers hold the harness open, making it easier to take baby in and out of the car seat.
The Coccoro fits well in small cars. The EliteCarSeats.com team installed the Coccoro convertible car seat in a small hatchback and found that the seat left plenty of room for additional car seats and passengers.

In contrast to the Coccoro, the Priori accommodates rear-facing infants up to 35 lbs instead of 33 lbs like the Coccoro. The Coccoro is also be more likely to fit in smaller vehicles rear-facing.
Another great convertible car seat option, The First Years TrueFit features a removable headrest for a more universal fit when installed rear-facing. The TrueFit also features a forward-facing harness weight limit of 65 lbs, allowing your child to remain in a 5-point harness longer.
