Our Review of the phil&teds up & away buggy travel bag
The phil&teds up & away buggy travel bag protects your phil&teds stroller while you're on the go. Once your stroller is folded and the wheels removed, you can fit the entire thing inside the travel bag for easy transportation and storage.
It's especially easy to get through an airport, bus, or train station because this stroller travel bag uses the stroller's own wheels to make it a pull cart. The travel bag has a handle strap and a shoulder strap. Check your phil&teds stroller on a flight or stow it in the luggage hold of a train or bus without any worry.
Before heading out to the airport, practice packing your stroller into the travel bag. When it comes time to pack everything up for travel or storage, expect the process to take at least 5-7 minutes. While packing the stroller takes time, once packed, the travel bag fits snugly over your stroller to properly protect it from nicks and dings. Note:
- If you have a phil&teds vibe buggy, be sure to choose the travel bag made specifically for the vibe stroller.
- If you have a phil&teds smart buggy, be sure to choose the travel bag made specifically for the smart stroller.
- The up & away travel bag does not fit the phil&teds hammerhead buggy.
- Of the two versions of the e3 buggy, the pannier bags only fit version 2.
Comparison: Traveling with baby? Get the phil&teds bac pac x. Carry bits & bobs over your shoulders and then clip the bac pac x onto the handlebar of your stroller. For drinks and meals on the go, get the phil&teds hangbag.

Thank you for your comments. I understand your frustation, but I assure you the stroller, double kit and wheels all fit into the stroller travel bag. The bag is purposely designed to ensure a snug fit to keep the stroller protected. Click on the Additional Info tab on the product page and download the instructions we've created to help guide you through packing the stroller. I would suggest a few practice packs before heading to the airport, but once you get it down it's a piece of cake. We are always here to help answer any further questions. This travel bag is not the typical travel bag where you collapse your stroller, put it in the bag and go. This bag requires a little more attention, but while it may take a few practice packs to get the stroller to fit perfectly in the bag, once you got it...this bag is a perfect design for travel. The stroller, third wheel and doubles kit can all fit in this bag, but please note it will be a tight fit to ensure your stroller stays protected. Here are some suggestions: First remove the wheels, doubles kit and the grab/bumper bar. Fold the stroller (with the handle on) and place in the bag with the handlebar at the bottom of the bag and the inside of the main seat facing down. Make sure the hubs are outside of the bag (you will attach the wheels once the bag is packed). Place the third wheel on top of the stroller, place the grab/bumper bar around the wheel and place the doubles kit on top of everything and zip. Attach the wheels and you're good to go. I understand this bag is a bit more complex then some other stroller travel bags so please call us at 1-800-887-0218 if you have any other questions. We have contacted the manufacturer and they will have a more detailed manual available soon.
