Thank you so much for taking time to submit a review of the mountain buggy travel bag. We're so sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing. We contacted mountain buggy and shared your review, and here is what they had to say:
W'e're so sorry to hear about the problems you have faced with the travel bag. We changed the axles on our buggies between 2007/2008, so if you have a 2008 or newer model, the axles are actually retractable, which should prevent the axle from puncturing the bag. Unfortunately, if you have an older model you will continue to have the axles puncturing the sides of the bag since they are not retractable. The handle is more of a shoulder strap so one arm is not taking on all of the weight.
