FINE FOR SHORT RIDES

I originally purchased this for use in my husband's car & used it for awhile in my vehicle once my son grew out of a 5-point harness carseat. It's OK, but I never felt that it was super safe - I really wanted something that provided a little more side-impact protection and a little more head support for those longer, sleep-inducing trips. I found a great alternative from Sunshine Kids, however I keep this carseat for carpooling & my husband's outings with my son.

We love this car seat! Our son is just at the weight and height approved, so we are happy that is has the detachable back for now and we can use just the base later. It is safe and comfortable. He loves the cup holder and we love that the seat looks great in our car. Only negative - his head tends to bob around when he falls asleep in it. Other than that - A++

Great booster. Very sturdy. Provides head and torso side impact protection; seatbelt is held very secure in place. Fits my large 4 year old very comfortably without taking up much room in the car.

I have four children and have been through alot of products. I have to tell you that the quality of this booster is excellent. From the way it fits in the car and feeling that my child is safe to the attractive colors to the bonus of the gel cushion for his head. I could go on about the great benefits of this booster. The only draw back I have is that with 3 seats in a row, I can't use the cupholder. May not be a problem for you. I loved this seat so much, I just bought another one for my husbands car. There is no cost to your childs protection. Buy it!
