Great and Convenient Seat

I love this seat for the fact it fits great in all our vehicles even in my smaller Mercury Milan where I have to have an infant seat too, and one person can still squeeze between our Boulevard and our Companion infant seat. I love the fact the harness moves up with a turn of the knob instead of having to rethread since my 18 month old daughter seems to grow every day. The only problem is my daughter is really petite, 34 inches tall and only 20 pounds and I still have to dig the crotch strap out if she wasnt on the petite side, I dont know if we could buckle her in. I love the fact that I can install this carseat in seconds in any of our vehicles. I did it in under ten minutes the first time while I was 38 weeks pregnant with my second!! I wish it came in more patterns like the Marathon, but I am so glad we choose this over the Marathon.

Ryan loves it!

We were debating as to whether to spend the extra money on a 'luxury' car seat, and we are very glad we did in the end. Ryan loves it and finds it very comfortable. The seat material used is high quality and very breathable so he doesn't get too hot or sweaty. He's a very tall baby and fits in the seat with no problem.
PS: The price on the EliteCarSears site was the best we could find and the free shipping was a big bonus.

Picky 3 year old loves it!

I bought this seat for my very particular 3 y.o. daughter who had outgrown her Britax Roundabout, which we loved and had purchased three times over for grandparents' cars and our other family car. The seat arrived promptly, and was just as described online. I chose this seat over the Marathon because it is 5" narrower than the Marathon, which is a big deal when trying to fit multiple carseats in your back seat. I chose it over the Decathlon because of the side-impact protection, as my car does not have side-curtain airbags (The Decathlon and Boulevard are the same width). The seat was a breeze to install, and installs just like our Roundabout. I had been concerned about the "wings," and whether they would bother her, but she can see out just fine, and likes to rest her head against them when tired. The only downside to this seat is that the crotch strap is really far back in the carseat, almost toward the back of the seat, so I have to really dig under my rather petite daughter to reach it. However, I was surprised to learn that the harness height is adjusted by a knob on either side of the carseat, so you don't have to uninstall the seat and rethread the straps through the back to change the height, which is very convenient. I would absolutely buy this seat again, and would use this vendor again as well.

We purchased the Britax Boulevard for our 2 year old who will be 40lbs soon. We want him to be in a 5-point harness as long as possible. We were hoping to get the Regent, but could not wait for it to become available. After receiving the Boulevard (within 48 hrs of ordering it!) I was glad we decided on this one. It took my husband less than 10 min to install the seats into our Honda Pilot (with the LATCH system) and Honda Accord. There is plenty of room for 2 adult passengers on either side. My son is tall for his age also and the headrest and shoulder straps adjust with the simple twist of a knob. He can easily see out even with the side wings. He looks a lot more comfortable when he falls asleep with his head resting on them. The seat itself is wider than the Graco Comfort Sport convertible seats we had. The straps do occasionally twist, but they are much easier to fix than the Graco seats. Knowing that my son is comfortable and safe is worth the money for this seat. I will only buy Britax from now on.

After much research, my husband and I decided on this seat. We are both police officers and have a certified car seat installer at our department. She recommended this seat for safety reasons and that it would work well in both our vehicles. We decided on this seat for the range of use. Hopefully it will be the only one we purchase. We are using an infant carrier in our primary vehicle, but bought this as our "extra" seat, instead of wasting another 50 bucks on another infant base. We have only used the seat twice so far, but my three week old son loves it. It is so soft, easy to install. Yes, it is heavy, big and pricey, but I can't compromise safety. I fully expect to be able to use this seat until he no longer needs to be in one. I like that is had side impact protection. We take our Jeep off road frequently, and I have no issue with my son being in this seat while we are four-wheeling. We have purchased items from both elitecarseats.com and joggingstroller.com and have had awesome experiences. Products come fast and customer service is great. Don't settle for less or think you'll save money with a less expensive seat...you'll probably need another one later, doubling your initial cost. Britax is one of the most trusted brands. You can't go wrong!

This is an excellent seat. We had previously purchased this for our son and loved it. So when the Shannon pattern came out we had to get it for our daughter. They both love their seats. They never complain about getting in them. They look comfortable (even when they are sleeping). They can see out of the windows with no problem. I know this is the best seat on the market and I feel very safe with my children in the best. They are pricey, but well worth it! Thankfully we have never had an accident, but if in the even that we ever do, I will not worry about them. The car seats are easy to install (we have a yukon, second row bucket seats)and even easier to adjust as they grow! I would definitely recommend this seat!
Thanks!

Britax Boulevard

I purchased this seat as a Christmas gift for my 10-month old daughter. She smiled and clapped the first time we put her in it! The wings prevent the dreaded "sideways head droop" when she falls asleep - and the seat actually fits better than her infant carrier did when installed in the rear-facing position in our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We can actually recline the front seat now and there is enough leg room for my 6'3" husband! Our five-year-old is jealous and wants a pretty big girl seat in the Shannon fabric. Installation was incredibly easy using the latch system and it is the first time I have been able to install the seat by myself and get it in there tight enough without help. We couldn't be more please with this seat!
Thanks!

Great Feedback! Thanks. Be sure to post your installation notes on CarSeatData.org so others benefit from that. It's a great source for figuring out which seats fit which cars.
Thanks!

Worth the Investment
Reviewer: Anonymous , New Market, MD

I bought the Boulevard for my Pacifica - the second row has captain's chairs, so my son has to sit by the door and I wanted maximum side impact protection. I learned my lesson with my daughter (now 5 and in a Britax booster). I didn't buy a Britax at first for her, because they were so expensive. However, after going through 3 seats for her,and being dissatisfied with them breaking, not installing properly and straps twisting, I finally bought a Britax. I would have actually saved money if I'd just invested in a Britax from the start. These seats are quality, top to bottom - take it from someone who learned her lesson the hard way - it is worth the investment!! Also, Elite Car Seats is outstanding - we've purchased 3 seats from them and they're wonderful to work with.

Great seat

We picked this seat for the 65 lb weight 5-point harness limit and the SI. We have couple of Recaros and love those too so our son was accustomed to the side wings.
Our 2-year old is both tall and heavy (though, oddly enough, not chubby at all) and he fits great. I am not sure a chubbier child would be particularly comfortable. We have it in our Audi Wagon and it fits super-cranked down with no problem! So even with a smaller car it seems to work.
I do wish that Britax would make the strap pads softer (instead of the polyester) and longer like the Recaro strap pads. While he doesn't seem to mind, I think it would be more comfortable while sleeping.
