This car seat rocks! I was so excited when it arrived. It came the same week we ordered it. After researching and comparing we decided on the Boulevard for the True Side Impact Protection. This seat is expensivebut worth every penny! It is a beautiful seat and I feel like my daughter is safe and protected in it. She is 13 months and just barely over 20 lbs. We installed the seat rear facing. It installs very tight when you do it correctly. It is so easy to adjust the straps and head rest. She looks so comfortable in it. When we took it out of the box in our living room she crawled right up in it and sat down. I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! I was very impressed with Britax and EliteCarSeats! Thank you!

First of all, this is the fourth seat we have purchased from Elite Car Seats.com, and it is the ONLY place I buy our car seats. The customer service is outstanding, prices are competitive, shipping is super fast, and the options are all here.
We moved our daughter from the Britax Companion infant seat to the Boulevard at about 6 months. (She was just getting too heavy to carry in the infant seat!!) I knew I'd get a Britax (all of our seats are this brand), as I love the weight and safety of these seats. Once installed correctly, they simply don't budge at all. Ask my husband--I am a car seat safety fanatic--and this brand is the only one I will use for my kids.
This particular seat is great. The seat is sturdy, secure, very comfortable, and looks like a beautiful, plush throne in our vehicle! I am jealous! Our daughter sits up high enough to see her brothers back in the third row, and see out the window. The side impact wings not only provide safety, but also hold her head when she falls asleep (no head bobbing here). I was thrilled with the beautiful fabric design, which is a muted, lovely lavendar and floral design--very girly and adorable. The velvet-like fabric is super soft and quite luxurious appearing! The straps are padded nicely at the shoulders/neck and abdomen area. Adjustments for strap height are a snap. Oh, and r>installation is so easy. I can do it myself in just a couple minutes, but I then have my husband put his weight into the seat to really snug it into the vehicle. I can't move it at all.
Cons: It is a big seat and this may be an issue for those with smaller vehicles. (We have a Yukon XL, and it is not a problem.) The only other concern is that the seat is so gorgeous, I am dreading the inevitable spill or stain! Every time I put my daughter in this seat, I am happy I got it. Absolutely NO regrets...

Great Seat

I decided on the Britax after many hours of research and reviews. Safety and comfort were very important, and I decided to maximize my dollar buy purchasing 1 seat for long term use (up to 65 lbs). The seat was fairly easy to install, and adjust. Shortly after purchasing we took our 7 month old on a 10 hour car trip, she did well for such a long trip, I think she enjoys being able to sit up and see out the window. There is plenty of room for the Britax, which we have in the middle of our Odyssey, and the passenger seat to be adjusted (a previous problem with an SUV). This is a really nice seat and I'm very glad we purchased it from elitecar seats because we were able to get the pattern we wanted and they shipped it the same day!

The very best!

It may cost a lot but its a wonderful seat. We've used it from 6mo old to 15 mo old and its done great for our daughter. Its safe but she is also very comfortable. She sleeps well in it. She sits high and can see. We love it! Much better than the Recaro Young Sport in our other car!

Great Seat!

I just got this seat for my 2 year old. I installed it rear facing- my child is 28 pounds. It does take up a bit of room, but I have a mini van so it was not a problem for me. It took less than 10 minutes to get a great install in my van with LATCH (and no top tether since my van doesn't have RF top tether points).
Remember that rear facing is safest till the limits for the seat have been reached.

not for newborns

Britax says that this seat works for babies 5 lbs and up. It DOES NOT work for newborns.My large for a newborn boy (9 lbs) was too far upright and his head flopped all around in this seat. He looked totally uncomfortable and awkward. This seat works for a baby with full neck/head control. Don't buy it for a newborn. You will need an infant car seat before you can use this one.

We received this product quickly, as promised. We love the car seat. I did a lot of research and chose this one so that it would last us until our baby is 60 pounds. She's 20 now. We may buy another for our 2nd car. Remember to have your car seat facing backwards for safety.

Excellent seat

We bought this seat because our 13 month old still weighed less than 20lb so he had to be rear facing for a while longer but he was too long for his first car seat (Peg Perego). The seat was easy to install and our baby is very comfortable in it. It is a big seat but we have a Suburban because we have 4 kids so it fits just fine.
The service from EliteCar Seats was very good and we have just ordered a Britax Roundabout to go in the other car and for using on a plane.
