why is cool so small and burdensome?

Bought it because it was gender neutral and seemed spacious. Turned out it is too small to accomodate an outfit change, extra diaper, and blankie without looking like a stuffed pillow. And the shoulder strap concept is not ideal for schlepping when you are also schlepping baby. I resorted to a really nice, spacious, comfortable backpack. Much easier to carry and neat to pack. Now my skip hop sits forlorn in a corner, a sad chunk of change. Also, velcro closure ripped after 2 uses. Company was good about offering to replace bag if I shipped it to them but quite honestly it's not worth it to me.

Almost Perfect

I own lots of diaper bags too: PPBs, OiOi, Diaper Dude, Keccis, Kelty, Baby Sherpa...this one isn't too big so it's great for when you get used to packing less than the kitchen sink around. It has amazingly deep zip pockets which is great/safe for wallet & mommy's things! It's also easy & attractive enough to continue using as a regular handbag. One small point, I do find the canvas a little too stiff & heavier than it needs to be. I've done lots with mine: on/off stroller, messenger style, etc. Very practical, all 'round bag...not gigantic. Mine is charcoal, but I'd love it in cord & denim & oh, about 1/2 dozen other cute colours too!

This is one of the bags we received as gifts when our twins were born, and it's not as convenient or fashionable as the Dadgear bag. We like to be able to just pull out a wipe quickly, find the diapers without digging, and hook out bag on the stroller easily. My husband takes the kids out a lot, and likes the messenger bag SYLE, which is so cool.

Ok.. thanks for the review, but this is totally subjective when you say one is more 'fashionable' than another. This sounds more like a plug for Dadgear..

I am a diaper bag junkie! It seems with each child I feel the need to buy three more diaper bags, but, I always go back to my skip hop. The storage is amazing and the bag retains it's thin profile. I love being able to take it from stroller to shoulder.
With my next child, maybe I'll just buy three more skip hops!
