Great Travel Option

I have used this for my now 4 year old DD for the last 2 years, she just completed her 11th trip to visit family out of state. A great option since we have a car seat (and all the other needed gear) at a relatives house already. Wish we could use it longer, but she just hit the 40" height limit.

Nice idea, not there yet

Fairly easy to install. Probably better than just the lap belt. Certainly better than hauling a car seat through the airport. Problems- low height limit. My 3 year old will hit it before age 4. And nothing to prevent submarining- it needs a crotch strap.

CARES restraint--great product

Once my son was large enough for the CARES, we happily put our car seat in checked baggage (thank god! no hauling it thru the airport, onto the plane, installing it on the plane, having it take up all that room on the plane...) and simply tucked our CARES device into the front pocket of our carry-on. You lean over the seat and smile at the people behind you, if they have boarded yet, say "excuse me for a moment. This won't interfere with your tray.) and open the seat tray, slip your CARES around it, shut their seat tray, and buckle your child it. It is comfy and handy and no more concerns about takeoff, landing incidents or turbulence during the flight. Love it! Great product.
