Great Concept

I bought this for my trucks that only have lap belts in the back seat. There are shoulder belts but behind the captains chairs which is not that great for a leggy kid. It works very well. The only problem we are having is our son out growing the seat. The back seat of the truck is short which limits the height of the back of the chair. We have had it for 3 months and my son will probably be too tall in a few more months. My only improvement would be the same concept with a rigid back that used the LATCH.

The Perfecrt Solution

This is a perfect seat for all the parents out there who want to keep their kids in a 5 point harness for as long as possible. The seat was easy to install, it sits tight in the car using the LATCH system and Top Tether. The straps are easy to adjust and can fit a child wearing a puffy jacket or a t-shirt.
We heard some concerns from our local store that there are no side protections like other seats. right now our son sits in the middle of the back seat so that is not an issue. once his sibling comes we will have to move the seat to the side, but I still think this is a very safe and innovative seat and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful Seat!

We purchased this seat for our 4 1/2 year old who outgrew her convertible seat. I really didn't like the belt positioning booster seats because it was hard for her to reach around to buckle it, she was more likely to try to move around with the give of the seat belt and I really wanted to keep her in a 5 point harness. We purchased a Britax Marathon and liked it but it was huge for 3 seats across and she sat up so much higher than our other two. That also made it hard to drive and see behind us. The SafeGuard Go has been wonderful. Easy to install and get a very tight fit. Great purchase and we're planning to buy another when when our 2nd outgrows his convertible. The most important points to remember with any seat are a correct fit inside the car and with your child, and this seat has done both beautifully.

Careful of seat seperations

I love this car seat but was sad to realize that in order to use the seat, you need to have a top tether and vehicle seat without a folding split. In the back of my truck, the top tether is in the center position located on the floor. The problem is that this seat is foldable which caused the extra pull needed for the top tether to slide down between where the bench seat is split .

Must Have

This is a perfect seat for kids who are not ready for a booster with a lap and shoulder belt only. My 3.75 year-old daughter kept unbuckling herself or sliding the shoulder strap off of her conventional booster.
The Safeguard Go is the perfect solution! It has a 5-point harness and she is now much safer! I would highly recommend this seat!

Great car seat

I recently bought this seat for my 2 year old because she had outgrown the height restrictions on her convertable carseat. I had a really hard time shopping for her because she is only 2 and too young to be in a booster type seat, but she is 39 inches tall and too big for most 5 pt harness seats. This seat is wonderful because she has the safety of a 5 pt harness, plus unlike most Britax models she won't outgrow this one before she is big enough to ride without a booster. My daughter loves her new seat, and is actually happy to sit in it. I love that it doesn't take as much room in the car as most carseats, and it was soooooo easy to install. I definately recommend this seat to anyone.

Highly Recommend

I purchased this booster seat for my almost 5-year old. He was using a Britax car seat. While he still met the 60 lb weight requirement, he was too tall for the seat. One thing I did not want to give up when buying him a booster was the 5-point harness and LATCH capabilities. For these reasons, this car seat is perfect for my son. An added bonus is that it is so easy to install and travel with. It is very light weight and comes with its own carrying case. When my 3 year old is ready for a booster, I will be purchasing another SafeGuard Go.

Safegaurd Go Seat

I love the seat. My son is 5 1/2 and I wanted him in a 5 pt harness as long as possible. He is 43 lbs and this is the only seat I found where the harness can be used up to 60 lbs! I use it as an everday day seat. Fast shipping, very easy transaction! It is safer than a regular booster seat with just a seat belt. That is what I was looking for

Best Ever

I have a 3 and a 4 year old toddler. We have bought several car seats over that period of time. After my daughter was 40 pounds, we placed her in a booster seat that was a typically purchased seat.....well she was never in it correctly. Every time I looked in the mirror, she was leaning too far in another direction or had placed the lap belt behind her placing her in an unsafe position for the lap belt to work correctly. After recieving this car seat, it not only provided "5 point" restraint for children more than 40 pounds, but also practically attached her to the seat in my vehicle. This car seat became part of my back seat in my van, with the help of LATCH. It even uses the head rest that my van has which only makes it even more a part of the seat. The seat will also lean back without tipping the entire car seat, which meant she was still yet, much safer than ever before. The seat in my van would have to come loose before my daughter would slip through this seat. I love it so much that I just ordered a second seat for my son who is just now 40 pounds. These seats are the greatest and will last them until they no longer have to use a seat. The perfect fit, perfect size, with the perfect colors. they are also compact enough to not only be easy to change vehicles, but will comfortably fit three children to a seat. I would recommend them to everyone.
