My wife and I have tried out many booster seats for our two boys, this one by far is the best!

Awesome preschooler carseat

Reviewer: Ellen , Rochester, MN Date: March 11, 2008
We purchased this for our 34lb 3yo who is almost out of his britax roundabout. We installed it in a 2004 Camry. We had a really hard time finding a quality carseat that wasn't huge, this carseat is perfect. It was extremely easy to install, the belt adjustments are very easy and after 1 month we have yet to have them tangle. Because of its low profile it is also very easy for our 3yo to get into on his own.

SafeGuard

Excellent product. Strong build quality. Essential discriminatory characteristic from most other booster seats is the critical 5-point safety harness system. In our SUV, we still keep traditional large car-seats. In my 2-door sports car, these larger seats simply don't fit, and this Safe-Guard Booster is the best alternative. It is expensive, but we think worth it, and the company's no-compromise philosophy is appealing and has an obvious associated cost over competitor products. You can save a few $$ if you buy the previous model, but we purchased the 2008 model which had some small upgrades.

Great car seat!

Reviewer: Devin , Chicagoland, IL Date: March 04, 2008
We purchased two Go seats (2008 model) to replace our other traditional seats that we had been using for our twin 2 year old boys. We wanted 'smaller' seats that did not take up as much room in our van but still provided the needed protection. The Go seats work GREAT. They are very slim, allow the seat back to recline/incline as needed, and fit the boys well. Installation was very easy as is adjusting the straps, etc. While they say you can install them in 1 min. I would allow 3-5 but that is still not bad if you need to move it from time to time. The only issue is that the head restraint seems to force the boys shoulders and head forward more than is comfortable. We removed them and just recline the seat backs for sleeping. I should note that since they do not have a rigid side frame (the back is all soft material) they can fit in places larger rigid seats might not. For example, you could easily fit three Go seats across in the 3rd row of a mini van as long as you had three LATCH and tether points. Try that with a normal car seat! Booster conversion looks to be very simple and should work until they are ready to just use the normal seat belts. All in all, a great product. Four stars out of five only for the head restraint that does not seem to work well for us.

Go!

I've only had the Go Hybrid for about a month now, but I think it's great. My son's about to outgrow his Britax Roundabout, so after a lot of research, I decided to replace it with the Go. I drive a Civic and the Go fits wonderfully. My son's weight is close to the LATCH maximum on a Honda (40lbs) so I installed it with the seatbelt and top tether and it still only took about 5 minutes to get in. Buckling my son in and getting everything to fit just right was a cinch. I really like the way the shoulder harnesses are adjustable with a clip, rather than the slot system most car seats use. The Go is a booster and not a car seat, so it sits much lower than my sons old seat, and doesn't have all the padding or high sides. So I was concerned he wouldn't like it, and after 2 or 3 rides in it, he loves it! He can see fine, he can climb in and out of it with ease and likes that he can reach his toys sitting next to him on the seat, which is a plus for me too! The closest thing I have to a complaint is that after the leg straps are tightened, the excess strap is rather long. I?ve got to make sure they?re not hanging out the car door when I shut it. They?re not long enough to cause concern, just a little inconvenient.

Excellent choice!

We bought 4 of these for our twins! We love them, they are just like a booster with a 5 point harness! Much better than the Britax Regent! It was just too bulky!

Safe

Reviewer: J Stone , Dallas, TX Date: March 01, 2008
After reviewing the Compass, the Britax Bodyguard and the new Britax, we chose the Safeguard. There is nothing safer than a 5 point harness and although some of the other seats may be fancier or have different colored covers, I didn't feel that they were as safe as the Go booster, which was our main concern. Another nice plus is that they fold up and come with a carry case which is great for us because we travel quite a bit.

One Great Seat

Reviewer: Christy Cameron , Arlington, VA Date: February 27, 2008
I bought this for my 3 y.o. daughter and love it. It's easy to install, lightweight and narrow, all while providing maximum safety. I'm considering getting rid of my Radian 80 and buying another Go Booster for my son.

Great Seat!

Reviewer: Gretchen Cooper , University Place, WA Date: February 21, 2008
We love these seats! They are easy to install, lightweight to haul around, and are safe! We had our 5 year old in a shoulder lap belt only seat and we really weren't comfortable with it. We wanted him to be more secure with a 5 point harness so we purchased two of these car seats one for him and one for our 3 year old daughter. They love them and pretend that they are sitting in helicopter pilot seats!
