love the city mini!

I've had this stroller for two years now, (my child is 3) and love it love it love it! So easy to fold with one hand, so light, beautiful, and small enough for the mall. I was not looking forward to getting something else for baby #2, but with research, found out there's a car seat adaptor you can buy for the stroller, so I'm sticking with the city mini for another two years! Love it!

Love the stroller! Had it for a year. There are some accessories that I'd recommend... the cross bar, parent console and travel bag (all from the website). If you're going to foldup the stroller and need to have it against a wall or in a closet, definitely check out the website for "stroller stands"...

i've had a few prams in my time (well workin at a pram shop doesnt help) i bought my mini jogger cause its so easy to push and the folding is impresive, just a simple pull n it goes, workin in a pram shop i see faults all the time with prams but i can honestly say not had one of these back yet and i've been workin with prams for over 8 years, all my other prams have had minor faults, they include mamas and papas ultima, mamas and papas pliko pramette a loola and a maclaren quest, but honestly you will not go wrong with the mini jogger

THE BEST STROLLER. PERIOD!

All the raves online ARE TRUE- this stroller does really rock! in 10 short months I've had the bugaboo frog (rediculous), quinny buzz (huge and heavy), peg pliko (huge piece of plastic), and bob revolution (just too much jogger for my non-jogging needs). FINALLY I have the PERFECT stroller for our needs- daily walks with the dog and shopping! The Baby Jogger City Mini folds way too easy, its amazing. The canopy is fab like the BOB, and it has TWO windows to see baby. Did I mention it looks so sleek? Much better than the boring Bugaboos i'm always seeing. MOST importantling for us mall hoppers- my big ju ju be tote does not tip the stroller when baby is taken out! I cannot believe this stroller cost 1/4 of the Bugaboo- and check out all of the accessories baby jogger makes for the mini- parent console, belly bar, child tray, car seat holder....does bring up the price, but it's so cheap to begin with, who cares? For baby #2 i will be getting the Baby Jogger City Mini double for sure!

This stroller ROCKS!

If you are looking for a lightweight stroller that actually maneuvers well, easy to fold, has a great sun canopy and is well equipped with many accessories, then buy this stroller now!!! I did extensive research on MANY lightweight strollers (returning all of them and figuring I was never going to find what I wanted in a stroller before I found this one)... nothing compares to the Mini! And it is only 17bls. I can take my son out, hold him in one arm, fold the stroller at the same time and throw it in the trunk of the car. Amazing. The canopy is the bomb! What a concept to actually make a stroller where the canopy can literally cover the child from the sun (unlike so many other lame canopies out there) and has 2 peekabo windows (got to love that). A lightweight stroller that has a child tray, not many out there and this one is awesome. My son does sit a little low right now for the tray (since the stroller has a deep seat) -he is 17 mo's - but he has no problem reaching his crackers and has a cup holder too! It has 2 baskets (one under neath and one behind the seat) that work out just fine for us. And you can lower the back of the seat all the way down if the child falls asleep. I also purchased the parent console, which is nice to have, but at times is a bit inconvenient because of the way it sits, but still works just fine for snacks, cell phone, drink, etc. Overall I am in love with this stroller and only wished I found it earlier...Buy it... you won't regret it! We love it!!!

Design Flaw?

Wish I could rate it higher, but I have one problem with it. My stroller has all the major components for the front wheel assembly to lock in the forward position (working grey lever, cross support for the locking pin and extra hole for the necessary locking pin). However, the locking pin was not included. Upon requesting the locking pin, I was turned away by 2 different people at Baby Jogger. Here's the latest response I got from them: "The Mini wheels have always had the gray lever and the two holes. The larger hole is so the wheel can connect to the frame?s wheel axle, and the rear hole was left empty with no locking pin. As the City Mini is not a jogging or running stroller, there is no standard requirement or mandatory reason why the front wheel of the Mini must have the swivel/lock feature. Therefore, for specific reasons - one to keep the Mini at a certain price point, we did not initially add this feature to the City Mini."
Why include all the major components of the locking feature and leave out one simple piece (the locking pin). I feel misled and that Baby Jogger's customer service is poor at best, so buyer beware.

I use the subway a lot and this is great for my small-for-her-age 4 month old. It has a full recline and an easy fold. I fold it and carry it up and down subway steps. Very useful.

A perfect small stroller

I did a lot of research on strollers for traveling. Our 3.5 y.o. does not usually need a stroller anymore but was not going to be able to do all the walking in Bush Gardens and New York City. So I needed an easy to fold, small enough stroller to take on the plane and a stroller still tall enough so she could fit inside.
I received it really fast (great customer service, super fast shipping)and am so happy with it. No more painfull manouvering of a 35 Ibs kid in an umbrella stroller! Thank you for finally making a small jogging (rather walking) stroller.

Great Stroller for Non-joggers!!

If you are the type of parent who wants a jogging stroller for trips to the park or other outdoor adventures, sans jogging, this stroller is for you. Otherwise, buy a BOB if you seriously are going to run. This stroller is extremely easy to fold, just grab a strap in the middle and pull - viola! The sun canopy is also great as it extends further than most others and includes windows for viewing your little one. It pushes easily, uses only one action to engage the brakes, and the wheels handle dirt trails with ease. At 8 inches, the wheels are not imposing, and it will fit in the smallest of trunks. It has adequate storage and the back recline is so-so, but if it's storage you are looking for i.e. shopping trips or long excursions and comfort, get a Peg Perego Pliko P3. For the airport and limited space, buy a Maclaren. Hope this helps!
