Reviews for Chicco Cortina Key Fit 30 Travel System

This is the BEST infant carseat out there! Our daughter was 7lbs at birth and fit very comfortably in the carseat, she always falls asleep and doesn't fuss when she is in this carseat, right until she outgrew it. She had not reached 20 lbs by 1 yr, so we didn't use the "upto 30 lb" feature - although I have a few friends who had to buy a second seat early on because their babies were 20 lbs and not yet 1 yr (for forward facing). The travel system is nice too - convenient to hook in the carseat. Although, another option is - get the carseat, and a babytrend frame stroller only (the kind with a frame where the infant carseat just snaps) and an umbrella stroller (which you'll need once the child is 9m+ anyway). The large stroller with this travel system IS really convenient for longer spells in the stroller (we take this over our umbrella stroller if she needs to stay in it over 2 hours) - so you can decide if you want to spend the money for a full stroller based on your usage - good luck!

The carseat system is easy to use. The stroller is smooth and easy to navigate, folds easily. The fabrics are higher quality and the accesories (adjustable handle heighth and cupholders) are great too.

Originally I was looking to only buy a car seat and the reviews I read indicated that Chicco was the best bang for the buck. The travel system was a great addition to the car seat. Cheaper seats seemed to have more negative reviews about dificulty to use etc. This one is a snap. Easy to get the base into the car Latch system. Easy to read the levels and adjust. Easy to snap the seat into the base. Easy to remove. So far, we've only used the stroller without the carseat. Considering how easy the carseat has been to use, and how easy the stroller is to adjust and fold, I'm sure we'll be pleased with how the car seat snaps into the stroller.
