Reviews for Orbit Baby Bassinet Cradle
Funny complaint

The Orbit bassinet is a wonderful way to have a place for our baby to sleep anywhere in the house. The rocking base is a bit larger than I expected, and it doesn't rock quite as much as I thought it would, but that's hardly important. The bassinet is very well made, and we love how easy it is to put it on the stroller base. If baby is sleeping, and we want to head out, it's easy to just snap and go. The one complaint? You know all those dangling toys you can hang from the handles of car seats? Well the Orbit handles are just that little bit wide making the toys difficult to hang for the baby's entertainment. Otherwise, we're very happy with it.

Pram of the Future

My parents were kind enough to buy us the Orbit Infant System and the bassinet because they remember buying the most outrageous do-it-all stroller combination when I was born. The Orbit gear is of exceptional quality and this bassinet is wonderful as a cradle in the house or pram on the street. Perfect opportunity for old ladies to peer in and gaze at the sleeping beauty inside who is going nowhere thanks to a strap that holds the kid in place. I'm all for safety, but I do think the strap is a bit much, and considering how fast the baby will grow, I'm not convinced it's the most practical piece of gear to have; however, it could work for strolling, sleeping, and rocking since it comes with a rocker frame. Fortunately, since the baby is likely to outgrow it after 5-6 months, the whole thing collapses to a fairly flat package. Well-designed (love the "paparazzi shade") and practical in the beginning earns it four stars.
