GREAT!!!!!!!!!

The other reviews pointed out all the good features of this seat: high, comfortable, well padded.Seat reclines well and easy to adjust while occupied by baby,I don't have to look back while reclining the seat. The most important of all was that the harness was very protective. We were involved in car crash by another driver who was (DUI), our car was hit hard and spun around but the car seat was fixed in its position. My baby only cried for 10 seconds and he was all smiles as usual. This is one of the best seat in the market. The only drawback is that the cup holder comes of the seat.

Only used it once...but love this seat so far!

I bought this seat because I am going to be flying with our 3 mo old in October. Normally, he is still in his infant carrier because it is most convenient when running in and out of stores. But we used this one day, when we knew we weren't going to be needing the infant carrier and he loved it. He fell asleep as soon as we started moving and I was easily able to recline it so he wasn't uncomfortable. He was only 2 mo at the time and it worked great!

Good for travel

We travel several hundred miles at least twice a year for vacation. We have Britax car seats that we've used since our son got out of the infant seat but by the end of our trips, he would cry and fight being in his carseat. I was a little hesitant about spending a bunch of money on another car seat that we really didn't need but decided to give it a try for those long road trips because it "reclines". At first I didn't think it reclined enough to make a difference, but having just returned from one of our road trips, we are glad we decided to buy it. It doesn't recline much, but just enough to make a difference and we drove 14 hours home in one day and our son didn't scream the last couple of hours or fight his seat. One complaint is the chest clip seems to slide down. I had to keep pushing it back up periodically.

Auto Eye Candy

Each day that I put my daughter in her car seat I feel great that she is riding in style and comfort. Her carseat is an original design unlike any that I've seen and I love that it is so unique. The designers were savvy enough to include a cupholder which comes in handy like you wouldn't imagine. It sits up high so that she can look out of the window and once you get the hang of securing it it is easy. It is not the most convenient of seats to move from car to car so If you are going to use it I suggest that you leave it in one car. It reclines so that your baby will not become a bobble-head once they fall asleep. It actually makes me want to have one in my size based on the sheer comfortable and plush look of it. Overall great, great seat.

Great car seat

I just got this seat for my 6 month old son, who has out grown his infant seat. I was sold when I saw that the seat reclines while it is installed. This was a feature I was looking for this feature but could only find it in a forward facing seat which would not work for my young son. This seat seems to be very comfortable for my young son and he seems to be much happier riding in the car now than before.

Just what I hoped for...

First, I'd like to say that the car seat shipped surprisingly fast. Thank you for that. Upon receiving and opening the car seat, I feel like it definitely lived up to it's reviews and description (I read a lot before I decided to purchase this seat). The plastic feels quite sturdy; as does the fabric (I love the color, by the way. I bought Indian Spice.) Adjusting and repositioning the straps was much simpler than I anticipated (my previous car seat was somewhat tedious to adjust), and I like the design of the mechanism to do so. The LATCH clips to install the car seat are also easy to use. I was surprised at how easy it was to install the seat with the LATCH system. The LATCH clips with this seat couldn't have been designed better or been easier to use. All you have to do is push it straight onto the anchor and it latches itself, with a push button release. Unhooking the LATCH clips on this seat was easier than hooking the LATCH clips on my previous seat. The LATCH belt adjuster is close enough to the hook so you can pull the strap tight enough without the adjuster getting caught up in the frame of the seat (another problem I had with my previous seat). The amount of padding in the seat is quite comfy and should be great for our long car rides (yet another thing our previous seat lacked). While my son is still rear-facing, I don't get to use the recline option yet; but, I tried the recline with my son in the seat before we installed it in the car, and it felt quite smooth and easy to adjust and I'm excited to use it when he can go forward-facing. This would have been a nice seat to have from day one (less seats to buy), because I feel like it would accommodate an infant nicely (although, I have no actual experience with the seat and an infant). It was tough to convince my husband that we needed this seat (he thought it was too expensive), but he was impressed with the seat when it arrived and now thinks it was a worthwhile purchase. I definitely recommend this seat.
P.S. The description on the site says it has a colored level indicator, but I don't have that on mine. All that's there is a (black and white) sticker with arrows pointing up that says "Use Ground to Level Rear-Facing Only".

how to loosenthe harness at maxium

I just purchased this car seat, and I have trouble to loose the harness at maximum level, I followed the manual but still cannot figure it out. (I did push down on the harness release lever while pulling out on the harness), however, the harness adjustment strap cannot be pulled out all the way... I cannot pull it out anymore at some point (it stops). it seems like I may have some problem to adjust this.

Great Next Step

This car seat was a great next step from our Combi infant carrier. I was torn between the Britax Roundabout and the Priori. I am glad I took the time to test both out before deciding.
Though I loved Britax's light weight design and plush, fun seat covers, it did not fit as securely in my VW Passat's seat as the Priori did. This was the biggest factor in our decision to go with this seat.
The next feature that swayed us was the fantastic, user-friendly recline option. The recline feature is the best by far that I have found and has already assisted with a few road naps.
The Priori is actually only slightly heavier than the Britax Roundabout and is more streamlined in appearance.
My only question so far is that I have not been able to locate the mentioned level indicator on the seat or even in the manual.
Otherwise, I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend this product. It is easy to use, sleek (as a car seat can be), and feels very secure.

and the verdict is....

I just got this car seat from Elite last week after they received their shipment. My daughter just turned 15 mths and needed to be moved out of her infant seat which was from Combi. Things I like...it is very solid design, with great padding and a stylish look. It has many features which was its initial attraction. 1) cup holder, 2) clips to keep the straps held back when putting your child in 3)multiple recline positions 4) latch system. All these things, along with safety make for a great seat. On the negative side...the buckle at the crotch is large and there is not alot of padding between that and the child... it is also hard to release with one hand if you have small hands like I do. Also the straps seem to twist alot. There is part of me that would like to return and try the Roundabout but honestly at this point I am hoping that I will get use to the buckles and straps and they won't bother me any more. Plus, I need a seat to put my child in and waiting to return and order a new seat doesn't seem to be an option. Overall I do recommend.
