This stroller is made for kids and running. I can't say enough about it. It tracks straight. My kids love sitting in it. The sunvisor offers huge protection. The wind cover fits well. It folds quickly and easily. It has spoiled me for what to expect in a stroller.

BOB Ironman stroller

The stoller's great. My baby always falls asleep while I run, so I like that it takes the bumps well. I wish it would recline all the way, though. Also, my baby is small so the restraining straps that are supposed to go across her chest, hit her in the middle of the face. I would like a way to adjust those more. I would have liked some kind of holder for my ipod and keys. Also, I would like a better way to hook the wrist strap...it always seems to be getting in the way. But, overall, it's my best stroller. Worth every penny.

awesome running!

This stroller is great. I did a lot of searching online as well as asking people who have jog strollers what they thought and I ended up with this one. I am SO HAPPY I did because it is super easy to run with for me (5'4") as well as my husband (6'3"). Our boy is only 2 months old and we are already running with him in it. We put an inexpensive extra head support in it which easily snapped in around the straps and even going over speed bumps his head does not bounce around and we feel he is very safe in there. We expect to do LOTS of running and a few marathons with this stroller and are very pleased with it so far.

When we bought this stroller my daughter was much younger than the recommended age. She was only 6-7weeks old. The harness was able to accommodate her small size (though I did add a blanket for extra support just in case)
She is now 12weeks and loves are outings. We go for a 4-5mile run 3 times a week. It rolls so well, easy to maneuver, and handles gravel / curbs/ branches/ pavement without difficulty. The wheels are large enough, and it is very efficient rolling, even the slightest decline and the stroller requires NO additional force other than steering.
You don't need the snuzzlelufagus or whatever that insert is as an accessory. You small child will be plenty comfortable.
The sun shade provides excellent coverage. Running into the wind though is a bear, I am considering an accessory to help cut the wind.
I love the stroller and if I wasn't short on time would write so much more.

This is our SUV

We have had our Ironman for 2 years, and it has truly been a "beast of burden" for us. I use it to run, do groceries, go walking, go exploring off trail, cross snowy parks, etc. etc. The stroller has held up extremely well. Sometimes it is loaded with our child plus a heavy load of groceries, and it still rides well. The quality of the material is excellent. I would suggest that you buy the plastic rain cover --to make the stroller usable in winter and in rain. We lived in a small community in the far north last year, and I was known as the "tall girl with the yellow stroller who walks all the time." The stroller has been used so much, any other would surely have crumbled by now, but the BOB Ironman is as good as the day we first got it --just a bit dirtier.

Good purpose-built jogger

Very good, very lightweight stroller. Tracks straight, pushes with very little effort. In fact, on what appears to be flat ground I still need to engage brake or it takes off. Turns easily enough "on the road," but less easily in a store--it's a jogger after all. 2 of the 3 tires went flat the first night after rolling over smooth, mowed grass, but "slime" tire sealant has helped. The tires are thin vinyl (looks like rubber), which seems less puncture-resistant than thick rubber. Folds very easily. Wheels are large, so you pretty much need to take them off to fit easily in trunk. Those same large wheels make bumps seem minor, however. With wheels off, the stroller fits in the front seat of my Trans Am, which I like. Love the yellow color both for its sporty looks and safety (I'm the kind of guy who always wears day-glo reflective belts). Baby harness is easy to use; getting child in and out is very easy. When seated, child's knees seem considerably higher than hips, so I'm a little concerned for his comfort on longer runs, but so far no problem on an hour run. See-through canopy is nice as it allows me to keep an eye on my son. Overall, a very good purchase, despite instantly-flat tires. Can't wait to race it--last race wouldn't permit strollers.

Very Satisfied

Initially I purchased a Baby Trend Expedition swivel wheel jogger because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a jogger. That was a big mistake! Anyway- after reading many reviews I decided that the amount of time I spend speed walking (and occasionally jogging) that I deserved a much nicer jogger and decided to purchase the Ironman. I could not be happier. I am very happy that I decided to go with the fixed wheel. If you are using the jogger for walking and jogging, the swivel wheel is not needed and the fixed wheel makes for a very smooth ride. The Ironman is built solid, rides smooth, and is comfortable for my 6 month-old son. He will grow into it for years to come because of the weight allowance. I bought the yellow which is great for walking in the late afternoon because it stands out. I would say that the Ironman is well worth the money!

Check out Baby Jogger
Reviewer: Anonymous , Raleigh, NC

Not as good as the Baby Jogger Performance. I have a Baby Jogger and it is A LOT easier to push than the BOB. The Baby Jogger doesn't fold like this one. However, if you are doing a lot of running / walking, you should really check out the baby jogger performance. HUGE difference in how easy it is to push.
