Great Seat!

I didn't buy my seat from your company, but I found you on the web and decided to write a review anyway. I reaallly like the Safeseat Step 2. I like the fact that it reclines and that you don't have to take it out to change the straps. I've already had to mess with the straps because they twisted. That's really my only negative comment about the seat. The harness straps do twist, and I have yet to figure out how to permanently untwist them. I had a little trouble installing the seat because I couldn't get the tether straps to tighten as much as I like them to be. I tried using my van's safety belt, but that belt lock-off contraption was not working for me! I love that there are a variety of colors. If I had to choose again, I'd choose Graco because I like the product. I just couldn't see myself spending over $200 for a Britax........ no matter how safe they say it is!

Love this car seat

After reading the reviews and doing some research we decided to purchase this seat. I love it and have never had a seat that was so easy to install. I have to admit that I didn't get how a seat could be reclinable but it is genius!!!!My only negative is that it is a bit heavy. My daughter only wants to ride in the car with this seat and loves it...Thank you!

Thank you very much for this review! I am actually a bit surprised that you found this seat to be a bit heavy. It is one of the lightest convertible seats on the market, weighing in at 11.5 pounds. Great Chair - easy to use!

I have had this carseat for over a month now and I have absolutely no complaints. I have traveled with it, changed it from various cars, and completely disassembled it for washing. It is so easy to use, easy to install, easy to wash, etc. etc. I cannot say enough good things about it - especially the reclining function; this is great for when our little dude falls asleep. Wonderful chair!

Kudos to Graco/Elite Car Seats

I was a tad leary about purchasing the Graco Safe Seat (Step 2) car seat from Elite Car Seats. My hesitation being that they were not a reputable online retailer along the likes of BabiesRUs or Target, nor did they have many reviews of themselves as an online store. I have had some friends and family that have had bad luck with the smaller online retailers. I ordered my car seat on a Wednesday around 1pm CST. It was on a truck by 5pm and arrived to me early Friday morning. Communication on their part for the order confirmation and tracking information for the package was perfect. The car seat itself? I haven't actually put my child in it yet. I will tell you that it comes completely assembled, looks super-comfortable, all of the fabric is either attached by elastic or velcro making it easy to remove and wash, is a must have for anyone who has the latch system in their vehicle (although I will say that even if you don't have it, it is super easy to install. I did not have to read the directions at all. It was very self explanatory), and the "recline while installed" feature is phenomenal. Thank you to everyone at Elite Car Seats and Graco for great customer service and a great product.

We've looked at many brands/styles of car seats to replace our daughter's current seat and this one has it all. The extra padding and softness can't be beat, and the recline feature (while installed) is brilliant! I'll be sad when she outgows this seat.

After doing some research we decided to go with another Graco product, and we are so glad that we did. We purchased this on the eve of her first birthday and she has loved everything about this seat. Though it claims to be easy to install, it took a few minutes to get it tight enough, but we are extremely pleased with every feature that this seat offers.
