The Britax Boulevard CS (the CS stands for Click & Safe) prevents one of the most common car seat misuses: inadequately tightened harness straps. With the Boulevard CS from Britax, you pull until you hear two clicks; the clicks let you know that the straps are just right. The tangle-free, five-point harness Britax Boulevard CS convertible car seat accommodates children rear facing from five to 35 pounds and forward-facing children from at least one-year-old and 20 pounds up to 65 pounds. The Boulevard CS also features Britax's revolutionary True Side Impact Protection™.

Installation: The Britax Boulevard CS offers built-in lock-offs for secure 'no locking clip' seat belt installation A push button release LATCH system with Versa-Tether® ensures an easy installation with a secure fit. Install the Boulevard rear facing from 5 to 35 lbs and forward facing from at least one-year-old and 20 lbs up to 65 lbs. The Boulevard CS is also one of few car seats that allow rear-facing tether use to ensure a more secure LATCH installation and proper angle when installed with LATCH.
When placing your child in the car seat, pull the harness until your hear two clicks. The clicks let you know that the harness is tight enough to prevent your child from sustaining serious injury in the event of an impact.
Convenience: The Britax Boulevard CS installs easily using either seat belts or LATCH. Adjust the seat with little effort thanks to the head-rest adjustment knob, which raises and lowers the headrest and harness straps. The Boulevard CS is certified for aircraft travel, so you know your child sits safely in plains and automobiles. The plush, washable cover makes clean-up a snap.
Benefits for Baby: A plush cover provides a soft-feel. The patented HUGS system better distributes webbing loads to reduce head movement and minimize the chance for webbing edge loading on the child's neck in the case of an impact. The Side Impact Protection wings not only protect in collisions, they also provide support for baby's head when they nod off to sleep. The rear-and-forward-facing recline provides child comfort and the body pillow helps to better position infants.

Comparison: Feel confident in your car seat harness without the click? The original Britax Boulevard is just like the Boulevard CS, only without Click&Safe technology (and it's a few bucks less expensive, too). Another great Britax car seat is the Britax Decathlon, which features a 3-position adjustable crotch strap. Parents who need a car seat with a narrower profile in order to fit the seat in their car should check out the Britax Diplomat. The Diplomat is smaller, but it also has a lower maximum harness weight limit of 40 lbs.
