Travel easily with two thanks to the slim and nimble Valco Latitude Twin Stroller. Weighing a manageable 30 lbs and folding compactly, the Latitude makes travel a breeze. Suitable for infants thanks to the flat recline and car seat compatibility, the Latitude from Valco gives wee ones a place to sit no matter where they go. As with the Valco TriMode Twin Double Stroller, the Latitude comes complete with a bumper bar, rain cover, and boot cover.

Is it for you? The Valco LatitudeTwin Stroller is for parents of two who need a lightweight and compact double stroller for travel or city use.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT

When folded, the Latitude's rear wheels can be used to roll the stroller behind you like a suitcase. Parent friendly features such as a telescopic adjustable handle, roomy under seat basket, and included extras (bumper bar, rain cover, and boot cover) make this stroller an excellent value.

Convenience: Traveling with two children takes a little extra work, and the Valco Latitude's tight fold makes working your way through airport security that much easier. Easily maneuver the folded stroller by using the rear wheels to roll it with little effort. Store the day's shopping in the generously proportioned under seat basket. At 28" wide, the Latitude fits through most standard 32" doorways.

Comfort: Adjust the handlebar to your preference with the telescopic handle. When folded, the stroller rolls behind you, eliminating the need to awkwardly carry it through an airport or from the car.

Compatibility: The Valco Latitude Twin accepts a single infant car seat. Purchase the car seat adapter separately. Compatible car seats include:

WHY BABY WILL LOVE IT

Both of your children enjoy all the full-featured comforts of a larger stroller thanks to the cushy padding, flat recline, and adjustable footrest. An adjustable sunshade keeps bright rays from bothering your precious passengers. A bumper bar provides a spot for little hands to rest or grab. When wet weather strikes, cover the Latitude with the included rain cover. On cold days, the boot cover keeps one kid's tiny feet warm and toasty. Matching 5-point harness provide safety and security for both passengers.

COMPARISON

Like the Valco Latitude Twin, the Zooper Tango Double Stroller comes complete with foot-muff and rain cover, but adds a UV Sun Shade. Furthermore, the Tango features a parent cup holder. At 30" wide, the Tango is slightly wider than the Latitude, but still slim enough to fit through most standard 32" doorways. And there is no need to purchase an extra car seat adapter for use with most infant carseats.

Very useful COMPACT double stroller

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , Valley Cottage, NY Date: October 13, 2009
I say useful, because you buy this double stroller because you need this small size and the ease that comes with that, comfort being a bit less of a priority. I have been using it for one year now. It has the ability to fit through any doorway and many more store aisles than other larger doubles. It folds up flat fairly easily and unfolds with one hand. All this and it's MUCH sturdier and pushes more easily than any of the "umbrella" type double strollers. It has a huge basket underneath, the foot plates adjust, the seat reclines nearly flat, and the handle bar is height adjustable. I am 5'10" and it is very comfortable. We have taken this everywhere, including through airports. All that being said, it's what I really needed for ease of travel with the kids. However, this stroller will NOT push with ease with my 30 pound 27 month old and 25 pound one year old. It is great on fairly level surfaces even outdoors, using two hands is a must. Turns and hills always require a bit extra effort. Even turning it around when stopped can be a bit tough sometimes. The canopies adjust individually for each side but are on one "m" shaped frame that clips into the front of the stroller on all three bars. This often comes off when storing the stroller and can be a little tricky to put back, but I always get it back on. The canopies cover enough when the seats are upright, though when reclined, you really need to purchase the foldable sunshades that velcro to the stroller. They work GREAT and keep out all the sun! For any stroller, even when the seatbacks are up, with these, they can still see everything instead of pulling the canopy over their eyes. My 2 year old is hitting her head , she is at least 36" tall and her feet dangle way over the footplates. But, she usually wants to walk, so when she is really tired, she is able to use it to rest and sometimes actually sleep!!! She really hasn't experienced a much larger stroller, if she had, she may not tolerate going into this one as well. I also purchase this stroller because of the carseat attachment capability. Problem is, that you have to remove the canopies to put this on. It comes with a a flat small "awning" type canopy to place over the older child, but it is very cheap and doesn't cover much and for the baby you use the shade on the carseat. Also, because it's a compact stroller, expect the older child to be squeezed in just a bit more by the bulk of the carseat. Needless to say, it did it's job for the few times I needed it when out by myself, but we took two separate strollers when we could and stopped using it the adaptor pretty. quickly. It was easier to take All in all, I plan to use this one for as long as I can. I have tried some of the much larger strollers and they push like a dream with one hand, but they have the same features, most canopies only cover partially. Also, this has solid tires. It makes for a little rougher ride, but I never have to worry about them. My girlfriend seem to be running out of air a lot and I have read other stories about strollers being out of use while a tire gets fixed. It's just another thing not to worry about. I think anyone who buys one of the bulkier strollers would have to have something smaller anyway for many occasions. Anyone could easily lift this into a car (it has two straps on the sides to keep it shut, I only need to use one for getting it in and out of the car). I think, when I do buy a larger double, as my girls are quite tall and will grow out of this soon, I will definitely keep this for when I need a quick and easy ride for them or I just need a more inconspicuous stroller! I give this 4 stars as it has really served it's purpose well for me, however, I will look forward to more easy and comfortable walks for the girls and myself in the future when we upgrade in size.

Great quality... not for tall kids!

Reviewer: Heather , Bolingbrook, IL Date: August 02, 2009
I purchased this stroller about a month before my 2nd child was born. I tested it in the store and loved the way it drove, and my 2 1/2 yr old fit great. However, I didn't try to buckle her in the seatbelt when testing it. Well, to my surprise when I got home, she was too tall for the seatbelt (in the 95th percentile for height)... thank goodness for the bumper bar! I have to say the Graco seat "adapter" is a joke... I ended up not using it after buying it. I am now looking for another double that will accomodate 2 tall children (my now 1 yr old is off the charts for height and probably won't last another year in this stroller). At the time I was looking for a double, I didn't realize I needed to look at height as well as weight. Lesson learned! Also, the canopies pop off every time I collapse the stroller. I plan to call the company about this and get it fixed before I sell it. It might sound like I dislike the stroller, but I really don't! If you don't have tall kids, it is great!!! It rides nice, folds and unfolds easily, and fits through doorways well. I would highly recommend test driving and trying out the seatbelts prior to purchasing...

Great COMPACT Double Stroller

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , Boston, MA Date: September 12, 2008
I was looking for a very compact side-by-side double, but wanted something with more features than a double umbrella so I could get away with only one double stroller. The Twin Latitude fits the bill for us! The other reviewers are correct - the stroller is not big - but that is what I love about it. I stroll it in and out my front door every day, it fits easily in the trunk of my Camry, and stores and crowded sidewalks are no more of a problem than with a single. My 20-month-old is off the growth chart in height (something like 35 inches now) and she loves riding in this stroller with her 2-month-old sister. I know my toddler will probably outgrow this stroller before she outgrows the need for a stroller, but there is nothing else out there that is small enough for my car and running errands around town, but still has great maneuverability, lots of storage, will take an infant car seat on one side, and can even handle our daily 2 to 3-mile walks. Sure it's not perfect and it won't last forever, and I'll never get used to the price tags of decent strollers, but the Latitude does everything I need it to do right now.

Too Small for a Toddler

3
Reviewer: Anonymous , New York, NY Date: August 26, 2008
I had been planning to purchase this stroller online as soon as I learned about it for my 23 month old and 2 month old sons. I have a Valco Runabout Tri-mode (single) and love it but wanted a smaller stroller for a double. After reading the other review on this site I decided to find a store with this stroller in stock to check it out before buying. The other reviewer is spot on--this stroller is great looking and of high quality, but too small for 2 toddlers or kids of different ages--unless they are REALLY close together in age. My older son who is 23 months and 50% for weight, 60% for height looked giant sitting in it, and he cried when I tried to put the canopy down because it was so close to his head and he couldn't see! He really had to bend his knees to put his feet on the foot rest, and the belly bar was too low for him, the seat was also too small width-wise. I went with a BabyJogger City Mini Double instead (which the Latitude is obviously meant to compete with) even though I preferred the look, storage capacity, and extras of the Valco--none of that matters if your kid can't fit in the stroller! I think this stroller would be good for newborn twins, but otherwise has limited utility.

There STILL is no perfect double stroller out there.

Reviewer: Anonymous , Denver, CO Date: August 07, 2008
This stroller WOULD have been perfect had it not been for the short seat backs and short height of the canopy. My son who is 27 months old and in the 50th percentile for height had NO room to grow - his head was nearly touching the canopy. You might notice that this stroller has one of the shortest seat back heights around (17.5 inches). It never occurred to me to consider this since we've tried SO many strollers and never even come close to the canopy. My son's elbows were also basically pinned to his sides with NO room to move (10.5 inch wide seats). This stroler is light, easy to fold, fantastic quality (Valco is known for ), looks great, nice and narrow, short from front to back, great stride length from what I could tell in the short time I had it, great storage, great canopies just like the twin tri mode, nice smooth ride on the wheels. So many nice things about the stroller. It was obvious the second I put my son in it though that there's no way I could keep it. This might work for twins, but even then the life of this stroller will be shortened by the seat/canopy height. From what I've seen kids use strollers until they're 3 or 4 even sometimes. Thank goodness for that return shipping insurance! JoggingStroller.com has GREAT customer service and this is the second stroller I bought from them... and not the last.
