These are handy but my twin boys were able to get the lid off pretty quickly. They are still better than any of the alternatives and with 11 month old twins, we use them all the time.

Snack Trap

The only thing I would change is to have the lid screw on. As my daughter has gotten older she has figured out how to pull the lid off. She also knows how to put the thumb on one petal and watch mommy scramble, but I use the snack trap for lots of things, not just cheerios. We put blue berries, and now that she is teething, frozen blueberries and cut up strawberries, gold fish

A well-executed concept!

I'm so glad I ordered two of these! If I want my daughter to be quiet and compliant, I give her a Snack Trap of Cheerios and it keeps her occupied for an hour. The lid is soft enough for little fingers to extract goodies, but firm enough to keep most of the stuff inside. My daughter has figured out how to depress one of the petals with her thumb and shake out the contents; I just take it away once she starts using the ST as a maraca. The handle is easy for my daughter to grip; she never throws the ST out of the stroller. Similar concept bowls (eg. Gerber) don't have these handles and aren't as easy to use. Don't forget to order an extra lid!

great product!

My son loves to carry around his goldfish crackers all day. The snack trap keeps the food in, until little hands reach in and pull it out. Smaller foods can sneak out, but, the snack trap is a lot neater than a baggie.
Basically, we never leave home without one.

This is a WONDERFUL product! My daughter has had one since she first started finger foods and it has given her a sense of independence with eating her snacks on the go without the mess of putting the cheerios on the stroller tray. All sorts of snacks work well with the snack trap. I LOVE IT and only wish it had been available for my older kids!! It is well made and easy for kids to learn to use.
