Definitely worth it!

I have used the car seat adaptor with both a Graco Snugride and a Graco Safeseat. It is definitely worth the $25 to avoid taking the baby out of the car seat! Set up is very straight-forward, and the seat fits very tight with no wiggle room when in properly. I take the adapter on/off frequently depending on how I am using the stroller, and find it easy to do so. I will say that sometimes I just use the straps that come with the adaptor and skip the actual metal support bars. As long as the straps are tightened as much as possible, the seat is very snug and not going anywhere. If using the Graco Snugride, the seat is small enough that the stroller seat does not have to be reclined at all and my toddler can still sit in the underneath seat. Definitely a great buy!

Good for walks--wouldn't jog with it

I have a Britax Companion, and found the adapter fairly easy to use. It keeps the car seat attached well enough for walks, but it wouldn't provide a secure enough attachment for jogging (which is not recommended with an infant, anyway.) It's fairly pricey for what it is (I paid $29.) The instructions are on the side of the box, so you must keep the box, and I found them clear enough for attaching my seat.

I agree with other comments that although the car seat does fit, (we have a Graco seat) it really isnt very secure at all. Also, where are the detailed instructions with the pack? you would think paying around £25 for what amounts to a piece of metal would at least get you a bit more than some rubbish pictures on the side of the box! As for the straps - where exactly are they supposed to attach to?? All very confusing and we are considering taking it back and making do with taking the new baby out of the car seat instead and using a cocoon.

Works, but never feels totally secure

I bought this infant car seat adapter accessory along with my E3, and while strictly speaking, it works, overall, it is a bit disappointing. The reason is that the car seat, when attached, never feels really secure and "locked down". We have a Graco Snugride, and in our previous stroller (a Combi UltraSavvy), when we attached the seat, it would snap in and really have a firm fit. Firm enough that you couldn't really wiggle the seat independently of the stroller. With this accessory, the car seat doesn't snap in, it just rests there, and you can never really get it to feel snug -- even when you squeeze the life out of the straps. The seat always seems to easily wiggle around. That being said, it still "works". I.e. I do not believe under normal conditions the seat will just pop out. However, with the looseness, you never get that confident feeling.

Hmm, the adapter is compatible with the Snugride - I've installed it myself. Are you using the safety straps that come with the car seat adapter? I'm thinking there might be a problem with the adapter, or it may not be installed properly...it's not terribly complicated, but it's still, admittedly, not the easiest car seat adapter to install. Let us know if we can help!
