Our Review of the Compass B510 Premier
The Compass B510 Premier, new for 2006, is the top of line model booster car seat available in Compass' array of folding booster car seats. Children and parents alike will appreciate the numerous features a Compass booster has to offer.A wide seat with a triple-layer of padding makes for a comfortable ride. The flip-up arm rests make it easier to get kids in and out of their booster seat. State of the art side impact protection using energy absorbing EPS Foam assures safety in bad situations. Plus, the kids love the B510's sturdy retractable cup holders that are angled forward slightly to accommodate the natural lean of your automobile's seats.
The Compass line of boosters also features an easy-to-use 6 point height adjustment system that can accommodate kids up to 100lbs. and 57" tall, while leaving no gap in the padding that could cause lower-back discomfort.
Our favorite element of Compass' unique design is the simple mechanism that allows you to fold up your booster and stow it in the trunk, or take it with you in the carrying case that comes with your purchase of a B510 Premier. Also, the flashy designs and plush fabrics used in the B510 Premier are simply phenomenal! It's also worth noting that the booster has fit quite comfrotably in my Volvo Cross Country, my husbands Audi A4 and my parents' Saab. The fit seems good in all the cars, which was a concern we had when picking out a booster.
