The Combi Twin Savvy LX is an upgraded version of the Combi Twin Sport 2 ST, utilizing all the same features as that other side-by-side double stroller, but moving a few notches up on the fashion (and price) scale. With the Twin Savvy LX you get an excellent double stroller that coordinates perfectly with the compatible Combi Connection car seat and come with an extra feature or two.
As its name implies, the Twin Savvy LX is essentially two City Savvy LX strollers attached at the hip. There are two storage baskets, two well-padded reclining seats with machine washable seat cushions, two 5-point harnesses, and a triple set of wheels, each with independent suspension to smooth out the ride. For kids with different shade preferences, the Twin Savvy LX has dual sun canopies that adjust individually; and for you, there are two view windows so you can peek in and check on the tikes. There?s also some added storage on the back, and the exclusive feature of the City Savvy LX, a removable, coordinated diaper bag that has two bottle holders and a zippered storage pouch.
Bottom Line: The Twin Savvy LX, at only 21lbs. is quite light for a double stroller. Ideal for parents of children that are different ages, the Twin Savvy LX accepts only one Combi Connection car seat at a time . . . and it coordinates perfectly. For a reliable, safe, and good-looking double stroller, you can?t go wrong with the Twin Savvy LX. The Twin Sport 2, which works with Combi Centre DX and Centre ST car seats, is another great double stroller from Combi.
Another option for parents in need of a double stroller is the slightly heavier Combi Counterpart 2, a tandem stroller with an in-line design and a raised rear seat. The 2007 Counterpart 2 will accept two Combi Centre DX carseats, two Centre ST?s, or a single Combi Connection.
