The Bugaboo Cameleon Sun Canopy is made of the same soft fleece material used in the standard Bugaboo Cameleon canopy, but the array of mesh windows in this new accessory are treated with a special UV coating that reflects 65% of harmful UV rays, complying with Australian Standard SPF50+ - the strictest sun protection standard on the planet.

Not Wonderful but Okay

We ordered this in orange canvas and it was not the orange I expected. It looks more like a construction color orange. . . much darker than what we thought. It was easy to put on and seemed to fit just like the shade that came with the stroller. I wish it would come down a little further than the regular shade so it could block more of the sun, but it seems about the same. I ordered the sunshade to attach to it just go it today and have not tried it yet. Also, the sun comes through the vent areas did not know that it would. Overall it is nice to have the air circulating through, but don't know if it is worth the price for the canvas, I maybe would have bought the fleece version if I knew what it was - it's much lower in price.

Doesn't Fit Right

While I think the idea is great, it doesn't seem to fit very well. The braces are unable to pull the canopy tight so it doesn't work with the additional sunscreen at all.

Bugaboo Breezy Sun Canopy Cameleon - recommended!

I bought the Bugaboo Breezy Sun Canopy Cameleon because I have the Bugaboo Cameleon Denim and it's dark in the stroller when the canopy is up. Now with the new Breezy Sun Canopy, Uri can look out and enjoy the air.

We bought this in off-white for our son and he's very happy because the breeze is able to flow freely in the stroller which allow him to be much cooler. One of our greatest buys.

The Breezy Sun Canopy is fantastic. It is much cooler in these hot days of summer and my son appreciates being able to see through the mesh on the sides. He likes knowing what's going on all around him and now he doesn't have to lean forward and peer around the canopy to see "what that sound was". Also, the best benefit for him is the headroom. He is very tall and this canopy does not sit on the top of his head. He has an additional two inches clearance so the life of our Bugaboo is at least a couple months longer. After that we're going to have to teach him to leave a hat on.....I'm not looking forward to that so thanks for the extra time!
