Our Review of the Brooks Pond Perennial Buggy Blanket

The Brooks Pond Buggy Blanket is a stroller blanket (othwerwise called a 'bunting' or 'footmuff') that stands out from the increasing number of similar kid-comfort products on the market. Most other buntings are size specific (infant or toddler), while the Buggy Blanket is a one-size-fits-all accessory that will work from infancy through preschool. The detachable top works as a play mat or changing pad; you can leave the lower half in place for added seat padding. An insulated, non-allergenic inner lining in the top half can be inserted like a duvet. The outer lining is wind and water-resistant, while the inner lining is composed of high-tech Thinsulate materials with exceptional insulating qualities. You hold the Buggy Blanket in place by threading the harness straps of the stroller or carseat through, and by unique straps that secure the blanket in position.

Another standout feature of the Buggy Blanket is an easily cleaned integrated boot pouch and boot guard that protects the interior of the blanket from soiling by grubby shoes.

Great Buggy Blanket

Reviewer: Anonymous , new york, ny Date: January 04, 2008
I really like this buggy blanket. It is very warm and cozy, and easy to install and use. I love the boot pouch. I like that you can unzip the top layer so once you reach your destination, you can take the blanket off without having to take your child out of the stroller. The only thing I don't like is that it's a little small for my big 3 year old (he's 42" tall and 45 lbs). It's hard to zip up over his knees at times. Also, for the Phil and Ted's e3 stroller, it doesn't attach well to the top seat, but it generally stays in place. I would definitely recommend this product.

Best on the Market!

I have 3 of these-1 perennial and 2 classic and they are by far the best out there. They work way better on a car seat than the toddler bundle me. The perennial keeps my child very warm on winter runs. I have a Bob jogger and I am able to use it on that just fine. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic blanket

We just bought this stroller blanket for our second child and love it. With our daughter we had several stroller blankets depending on the weather. With the Brooks Pond, you just need one. It is easy to attach to the stroller so it does not fall off and needs very little adjusting. The color selection is fun and vibrant.

Super stroller blanket

Very pleased with this stroller muff/blanket. It's super warm, doesn't slide down and it's easy to detach the outer blanket on unexpectedly warm days. It fits my bugaboo even better than my maclaren but works on both.

Nice Blanket

I have two of these blankets and they are VERY nice. MUCH longer then the toddler bundle me, so you will be able to use it for many years. Easy to clean and it really is water resistant as I found out when a cup of milk was spilled on it :-) Also has slip proof material on the back to help it stay put in the stroller, I didn't even need to use the clips. Pricey but worth it.
